The North Carolina Arboretum is always a treasure here in Asheville– this weekend it hosts my favorite event The Annual Orchid show. Yesterday’s Daily post was local color and this must surely count. I love the variety, the grace and the outrageous, excessive beauty. There were hundreds of people patiently making their way around the show floor. I enjoy the conversations I have with strangers- sometimes I can;t help but exclaim aloud and someone always answers. The same is true in the sales room next door- so many plants, so many people, so many oohs and aahs. Unfortunately I was unable to see most of their name signs. Beauty is it,s own reward.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful images! Thank you so much for filling my morning with your lovely orchids! xoxoJulia
