I gripe when we have had rain days in a row and then I remind myself we need the rain. Here in NC we have been in a drought the last few years. In the rural areas most people are on well water and the shallow wells started going dry. Water is always precious even when mother nature gets carried away.
I used to live in New Mexico and one day our well actually went dry- I lived without running water, carrying water home daily, dug myself an outhouse and lasted a year. It is a precious thing.
I love those pictures of water dropping into water and the splash looked like a crown. Living without water for a year made me really be aware of it. I really liked you surf and clouds I saw quickly this morning.
Water is a precious thing – and we need to learn to value it more in places where it is abundant.

Love it! I still cannot believe how many people seem to be oblivious of the need to take care of this precious resource.

Thanks for your comment. So much of our impact on our environment is often taken for granted.

I was listening to rain outside the window as I came upon your water post. It’s such a precious resource, isn’t it?

Very good post. We don’t think of the value of water unless it is scarce.
