As I walked with Bella today, there were a number of butterflies that follow us for short distances, making lazy loops around. First yellow, then brown, then black and finally a pale blue one. I tried for many pictures but only got this one. Seeing them made me smile, walking along singing and with flowers in my hair. Today they kept flying around and would not light long enough for me to snap them. You know I will keep trying.
In 1939, Pacific Grove, California, gained international attention by passing an ordinance making it a misdemeanor to molest a butterfly. (Useless knowledge/google) I approve of this.

I love the law to preserve them. They are lucky Bella is really aware of them.
