Below is a quote from the book I am reading Villette by C. Bronte. It resembles what my first peak experience felt like. For me the feeling is a oneness with all. The frost and cold has kept me in but today is a planting day- yeah. I did not want to use someone else’s photo so the picture is a Magnolia tree bloom open for its first day.
“I saw the risen sun struggling through the fog… While I looked my inner soul moved; my spirit shook its always fettered wings half loose; I had a sudden feeling as if I who never yet truly lived, were at last about to taste life.”
I love the quote! And that’s one of the most lovely magnolias I’ve ever seen.

How delightful to see. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one besides a picture. ♥
